The best Argentenian spot in LA. Tastes traditional and everything was absolutely delicious. Service was very excellent and fast, and the ambiance is so beautiful. Our server was so kind. The empanadas were also amazing!! Can't wait to come back :)
I've been coming to Lala's for years, and it has never failed to impress. Recently, I finally got to experience the new Melrose location, and I have to say the atmosphere is fantastic. The vibrant energy, warm service, and welcoming ambiance make it an even better spot to enjoy the best Argentinian food in LA. As a big fan of meat, I can confidently say that no one does a better skirt steak and mashed potatoes than Lala's. The steak is always perfectly cooked, tender, and packed with flavor, and the mashed potatoes are the ideal complement. Whether you're a longtime fan or visiting for the first time, Lala's never disappoints. Highly recommend!
I've been to Argentina and dined at Don Julio, but WOW ! I was duly impressed with the steak at Lala's! I ordered the tabla de Cannes - 3 different steaks - Filet, skirt and NY Strip - all delicious! Started with bread and chimmichurri and beef and chicken empanadas. Lala's steaks are really delicious.
I LOVE Lala's Argentine Grill! I used to frequent the downtown restaurant and didn't realize it was on the west side until recently! Came here for lunch with a friend and was pleasantly greeted by the staff. The restaurant wasn't busy due to it being a lunch time on a weekday and we were able to pick where we wanted to sit. The restaurant is spacious and has seating outside as well just in case you want to get some fresh air while you eat. Since we were there for lunch, I ordered the chicken with a side of mashed potatoes and salad while my friend got the steak sandwich. Both options were delicious and were huge portions for the price. Everything was so flavorful. If you're looking for a delicious restaurant with great choices, I definitely recommend!
We are so happy that Lala's is back! It had closed before we moved out of LA, and we were very happy to see that it had reopened. The service, the food and the prices were all great! We've eaten there twice since it reopened and can't wait to go back. I've never had a bad or mediocre meal there.
